Novolen Polypropylene Technology Improvements and Update was presented by Dr. Godofredo Follmer, Managing Director, Lummus Novlen Technology, Germany. The agenda for the presentation revolved around the Lummus Novolen Technology; the R&D updates of the organization, the improvement highlights and process and some of the projects covered in India.
About the Author
Dr. Godofredo (Fred) Follmer is Managing Director of Lummus Novolen Technology GmbH and VP of Lummus Technology. He was named to this position in September 2000. Fred joined CB&I in November 2007. He holds more than 20 years of experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry with domestic and international assignments in technology development, plant operations, sales and general management. In his current role, he is responsible for the worldwide Novolen Technology Business. He has previous experience with ABB, BASF AG and Targor GmbH in Germany, and Techint SA in Argentina. Dr. Follmer has earned degrees in Master of Science and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina and Ruhr-Universitt Bochum, Germany, respectively.
